Who we are

The Bespoke Index operates at thebespokeindex.com. We are an independent editorial directory of bespoke tailors. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy refer to The Bespoke Index.

What data we collect

We collect data in two ways:

  • Enquiry submissions. When you use the Get Matched form or submit a tailor, we collect your name, email address, and the details you provide. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and match you with a suitable tailor.
  • Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

How we use your data

We use enquiry data to respond to your request and, where relevant, to pass your details to a tailor you have expressed interest in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie to track how you arrived at the site (for example, from a search engine or a referral link). This cookie contains no personally identifiable information and expires after 30 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

Enquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to respond to your request and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing to us at hello@thebespokeindex.com.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@thebespokeindex.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
